Let’s start with the capacity. In this model Apple decided decrease memory size and increase battery’s life time. Right now the biggest Apple iPod Classic comes at 120 Gb size. In my own opinion that is more then enough for the simple mp3 player.

Now let’s take a look on the looks of the new iPod. As every other iPod it comes with polished back panel which always covered in fingerprints of the owner. This may be a turnoff for the customers who prefer nice and click mp3 player in their hands. The front of the iPod Classic is anodized-aluminum, which distinguishes it from other media players.

However the graphical interface of the new Apple iPod classic 120 GB Apple iPod classic 120 GB Black (6th Generation) is really something to look forward to. The small screen with 320×240 resolution gives outstanding quality of colors. The only feature of the new iPod is split-screen menu which allows you see menu on the right side of the screen and the rest of the screen taken by the album artwork or the play list.

The audio output is very satisfying . It has frequency response from 20 to 20,000 Hz. However if we forget about media players and take a look at the Sony Ericsson phones, they will do much better performance then any iPod Classic.

New model is different from every other one.It has new compact design and unique controls. New control system architecture built on the new touch sensors. I would say it is a cheaper version of the iPod because user can move along the playlist just by moving the finger along the small touch pad on the front cover of the player.

The most important part for each mp3 player is the power. iRiver T6 has 1.8 inches OLED screen which saves a lot of power for playback time. new player comes in two versions. First one has 2 Gb integrated memory and the second with more capacity of 4 Gb.

In the end MP3 player reviews Blog can assure that touch pad controls, USB interface, voice recorder, FM-tuner and price ($50) creates massive competition for the Apple’s iPods.
